Raconteurs Vinyl Listening Party And Free Pizza Tuesday March 25th 7pm

We're VERY excited about the new Raconteurs album dropping this weeek. It's called Consolers Of The Lonely and in a new attempt to create as level a playing field as possible and to keep leaks to
a minimum, The Raconteurs have decided to release it all at once, in every format at the same time. Why? Here's the band's explanation, straight from the press release:

"The album was mastered and completed in the first week of March. It was then taken immediately to a vinyl pressing plant. Then to a CD pressing plant. Then preparations to sell it digitally began. March 25th became the soonest date to have it available in EVERY FORMAT AT ONCE. The band have done no interviews or advertisements for this record before this announcement.

"The purpose: to get the album to the fans as soon as possible and as we promised. We wanted to get this record to fans, the press, radio, etc., all at the EXACT SAME TIME so that no one has an upper hand on anyone else regarding it's availability, reception or perception."

To celebrate we will be hosting an old school vinyl listening party this Tuesday March 25th at 7pm along with free pizza to entice you to show up. We'll be playing the album in the store on vinyl in its entirety so come down and hear how rock music was meant to be heard!
